Pre-Season Program:

Base Building is the key. The early season program is designed to guide new or out of conditioned runners
into running shape while minimizing injuries. Unfortunately,injuries are very common with new runners or
runners returning from a layoff. The walking/running program is highly advised for all athletes who have not
been running regularly. It is a progressive program, which brings the athletes into continuous running in
about three weeks. The other main advantage is the longer duration of the workouts, whicn equates to a
higher fitness level sooner.
Athletes seed themselves into Level 1,2 or 3 depending on their current fitness and running base. It is
definitely wiser to start in a lower level initially, and then move to a higher level, if necessary. You can never
under-do a starting a fitness program, but, you can definitely over-do and set yourself up for injuries, illness
and mental burnout.
The Program is individualized, so every athlete from out of condition to very conditioned will be on track to
optimize their fitness.

For College Athletes: we will integrate your collegiate prescribed summer training schedule or create a
program based on set standards from some of the most successful collegiate programs.

Includes 5 days* per week training .
*Athletes are encouraged to train daily with the team. A weekly and monthly training calendar will be
published with specific daily workouts.  This will allow athletes with a conflicting schedule to train on their
own time on those days,  enabling them to keep pace with the overall progressive program.
